Engagement and Competitions

Our latest department added to HabboBites is "Engagements and Competitions" which has just recently closed its applications.

We'd like to give a warm welcome to the Engagement and Competitions team members -

Xenid, marrelpunk, Jung, Seth, Harriet, Larry, Patricia and Eugene - they will be lead by Engagements and Competitions manager Obsole and will be working alongside HabboBites' managers, other departments and our lovely community!

Their first event will be just right around the corner and it will give you a chance to learn important facts about a certain day as well as earn a site achievement for your efforts!

Don't forget to check out Larry's gold pack competition - from 13 March to 19 March, he will be giving out a golden accessory pack every day so don't miss this oppurtunity to enter. Simply head to his profile for more rules and details!

Staff Holidays

Some of our dedicated staff took some time off HabboBites and went on a well deserved vacation!

Seems like Hong Kong is the current fave choice with three of our staff going to the country - Jas, andricxqr and Cyrillia

Andric was kind enough to share his experience in Hong Kong and even included some aesthetically pleasing pictures!

Grandpa went on a trip to HongKong to do some fabric sourcing and also at the same time, have a little holiday for myself! Looking back on the trip, what grandpa miss the most would definitely be the really insanely delicious dim sum! Almost everyday I would have dim sum that cost twice the amount I have in Singapore but I would say it is definitely worth the price. Going almost everywhere and anywhere I went to look for the best dim sum!

Different restaurants have their speciality so I would say I can't nail down for you which would be the best, but personally in general I think the famous one in Central is worth to splurge on!

The second most memorable would be the Ocean Park!! EVERYONE SHOULD DEFINITELY VISIT! I had such an amazing time to the point that one of the rides I was so excited that I bled halfway through the rides while screaming! Exciting aint it! HAHA!

Overall experience, do bear in mind to book a hotel rather than a AirBnb... just take this advice with you and you will be all good. The life in Hong Kong is so fast paced but is not very developed! In my opinion, Hongkong is a mixture of Malaysia & Singapore. Go Hong Kong with an open mind and enjoy all the heaven food!

In addition, Larry has shared us a story from his experience in South Korea

I was staying in this apartment through AirBnB and on my last night before my flight, there were two men in black wearing hoodies pressing on my apartment's doorbell. They stayed outside for 30 minutes from 2:30AM - 3:00AM and kept ringing the doorbell constantly for like 3-4 times and each bell lasted for about 45 seconds. Basically the moral of the story is to be aware of your surroundings especially when you are using apps like AirBnB to book and also don't open door to strangers whether or not if they are dressed nicely or suspicious!
