It's not that ugly but I still love the old icon:: It has shown the app's personality and it became a powerful and universal symbol for instagram, that detailed polaroid. I think it was an unnecessary change
I don't know why the companies are considering the edition of all logos and even the overall design to make it minimalist. Is it the nowadays's design fashion?

I hate it.
I deleted Instagram from my phone tbh.
